Screen format

All of a sudden my screen won't adjust from horizontal to vertical when I rotate the iPad. Anyone got an idea.

There is a small button by the volume that can lock the orientation.

Maybe silly of me to ask, but did you check and made sure you don't have the screen rotation lock on? If it is lock you will see in the top Right corner next to your battery level a lock icon.
