Transfer .flv and .mp4 files from PC to iPad

Hi,

I have difficulties to transfer movies to the iPad by iTunes. How does one have to proceed?
Is there a good free program to avoid iTunes that is not really easy?

There is not u must hook it up when iTunes comes go to movies and pick the one u want letit download or u can go to iTunes on the devise and get a movie

Hopefully this doesn't violate any rules(I'll remove this post if it does), but there is a program called CopyTransManager which I use. I think it requires iTunes for some needed drivers to interface with iOS devices, but it works pretty well with my iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4G. I don't see why it wouldn't work for the iPad, but you may need to find a video conversion program in order to get certain file formats onto the iPad.
