Request to Forum Members - Re: AirPrint Success

This request is to all forum members who have been successful in getting AirPrint to work.

I am referring to having success printing from your Ipad through your router to your Airprint enabled printer ONLY. Please do not respond if you are using a third party software package running either on a PC on your network or on your IPad to accomplish the printing. AirPrint should work with ONLY those three elements.

We all know there is a list of Airprint compatible printers available on the internet. What is lacking is a list of AirPrint compatible routers. So if you have been successful printing from your IPad using only your IPad, router, and printer on your wireless network please provide the router's MAKE, MODEL, hardware VERSION, and firmware VERSION.

If you have had the unfortunate experience of speaking with any of the router manufacturers support people you know they are unable to provide any help and are quite clueless about AirPrint and the Bonjour technology AirPrint uses.

Oh, we know that Apple Airport Express and Airport Extreme routers will work, but some other alternatives are requested.
