    Text message from iPad 2

    The text messaging on the iPad 2 is via email. Is there anyway to avoid having my email address displayed to the recipient of my text message? Can I have another user name here showing in play of my email address?

    thats not possible since imessage uses email address to communicate between ios devices. When sending from iphone instead of e-mail id we can give your mobile number.
