Hey all,

I seem to have lost some sounds on my iPad, music is fine also text to speech, but I don't have key press sounds or game sounds
I have tried a full power down but still sounds are missing.
Any advice?

Damn, just realised I am in the wrong section, can an admin move it please.

Sounds like you may have slid the mute switch on the side?

Or, if you have the switch set to rotation lock, then you may have pressed the mute icon in the switcher - double click the home button and swipe the multitasking bar right, and the mute icon is on the left hand side (but only if you have the hardware switch set to rotation lock, otherwise the icon will be for rotation lock!)

Don't worry. Lots of folks fall into this trap. It's a mute of system sounds, not all sounds.

Chalk up another one to Apple's intuitive design team taking a day off...
