Temple Run, the endless action video game developed by Imangi Studios, has made a hit since its release for iOS in August 2011 and available for Android in March this year. Currently it has 16 million daily active users. A short time before, it has been reported that Disney Pixar teamed up with Imangi for Temple Run: Brave, in conjunction with the upcoming release of Disney/Pixar’s animated feature Brave. The new game will have some exclusive new features. Princess Merida is the main character of both the movie and new game. She will have her trusty bow and arrow in new Archery sections that will tie-in closely with movie. Players need to touch screen to run, jump, slide and SHOOT.
Being different from the original version, Temple Run: Brave will be priced @ 99 cents while the original Temple Run is free download. Imangi cofounder Keith Shepherd says they view this as a “premium version” of the game, not a replacement.
